i Wish . . .

It is a poem written by a woman (a wife n an ardent mother) who is living few last moments in her life.

She is fighting bravely against the disease,but in the end she knows she is gonna lose.

The poem is about her last wishes,if only she had one more day left,if only she could see her family smile with her...

if only.................

 

Please give me some time
I ask from thee....
The future is what
I wish I could see...

The pain is immense,
But i know i can bare it all.
I wish i could see,
my son stand on his own,so tall.

Oh dear god!!! I just wish,
I could have one more day,
to see my husband smile
and to see my son play...

I wish I could stand,
I wish I could breath,
I wish I could help thm,
with whatever they need.

I fought and I tried
to swim to the surface.
But i know i had lost long back,
which was very difficult to face.

I kept going on...
coz my love for them pulled me through.
But in the end,i could not win...
inside of me,i always knew...

just as i see...
gates ahead opening into a new world,
i wish the last glimpse i get,is of the ones i loved.
before my world,into darkness is hurled...
